Empowering your people to build genuine connection and resilience.

We partner with workplaces, community organisations, local councils, and grassroots groups to create safe, structured, and evidence-informed spaces for men’s wellbeing.

The Challenge & Our Approach

The Challenge

Many organisations and communities recognise that the men in their teams, towns, or networks are struggling—often quietly. Traditional approaches to wellbeing can sometimes feel too clinical, or fail to engage men who have been conditioned to suppress their emotions.

The Approach

Grounded in a formal Theory of Change and the principles of salutogenic health promotion, our programs are designed to build capacity, strengthen relationships, and create environments where men feel safe to be authentic.

Our Flagship Program: Train the Trainer (TTT)

Embed The Men Spirit’s methodology directly into your organisation or local community. We train your staff, community leaders, or local volunteers to facilitate their own men's circles using our evidence-informed framework. This specialised training equips your people with the philosophical grounding, ethical boundaries, and practical skills required to hold safe spaces for men. Clinical experience is not required.

Who Is It For?

The TTT program is accessible to anyone committed to creating safe spaces for men. It is ideal for HR professionals and educators, but equally designed for local volunteers, sports club members, or a group of mates wanting to start a circle in their town. Often, community training is supported by local funding, for example, a local council or RSL funding a group to undertake the training and bring the circles back to their community.

What the Training Covers

Foundations of Facilitation

Establishing the philosophical grounding, ethical boundaries, and core practical skills required to create a safe container.

The Four Dimensions

Equipping facilitators to guide conversations around Emotions, Beliefs, Relationships, and Habits.

Safety & Risk

Building confidence in managing a live group environment, navigating challenges, and understanding trauma-informed practice.

Integration

Coached practice sessions and action planning for starting your own circles.

Flexible Delivery Models

The Partnership Model

An ongoing relationship designed for long-term integration. We train your staff or community leaders and provide continued support through our Community of Practice, including ongoing mentorship and access to updated resources.

The Bespoke Model

A tailored, time-limited engagement designed around your specific context, workforce, or community goals. We deliver the training and provide your team with the tools to take ownership moving forward.

Why Partner With Us?

  • Evidence-Informed Practice: Aligned with international health promotion frameworks.

  • Trauma-Informed Approach: Prioritising psychological safety to prevent re-traumatisation.

  • Lived Experience as Expertise: Bridging the gap between academic rigour and genuine human connection.

  • Clear Scope and Boundaries: Facilitators are trained in risk recognition and work alongside existing clinical pathways.

Workshops and Training

In addition to our Train the Trainer program, we offer standalone workshops designed to introduce key concepts of men's wellbeing to your broader team or community group.
