Two Voices One Circle

Where Your Truth is Heard and Your Healing Begins

A Free Fortnightly Online Men's Circle

Join us every two weeks for an authentic gathering where men create sacred space for meaningful connection, honest expression, and collective wisdom.

In a world where men are often expected to have all the answers, Two Voices, One Circle offers something different: a trauma-informed container where transformation happens through the simple yet profound act of speaking your truth and being truly heard.

This is not therapy or advice-giving, but a carefully facilitated space where:

  • Two brave individuals share what's alive within them each session

  • A supportive brotherhood witnesses without judgment or attempts to "fix"

  • All participants discover the healing that happens in community

  • Men learn they no longer need to carry their burdens alone

Whether you choose to share your voice or hold space for others, you'll find strength in vulnerability, wisdom in reflection, and the powerful recognition that our individual journeys share common threads.

The Power of Being Heard

How It Works

Time Activity Description
10 min Grounding & Welcome Opening silence, introduction to the circle concept, and review of agreements
20 min First Voice First man shares uninterrupted, followed by group resonance sharing
20 min Second Voice Second man shares uninterrupted, followed by group resonance sharing
20 min Circle Wisdom Facilitated discussion exploring common threads and emerging wisdom
10 min Integration Practice Guided experience (meditation, journaling, visualization, etc.)
10 min Close & Commitments Insights, optional accountability pairs, and final grounding

Our Agreements

  • Confidentiality - What's shared in the circle stays in the circle

  • Non-judgment - We listen with compassion and curiosity

  • Speaking from "I" - We share our own experiences rather than generalizing

  • Reflection, not fixing - We offer resonance rather than advice

  • Emotional expression as strength - All emotions are welcome and valid

For Those Who Share Their Voice

Two men volunteer to share in each session. If you feel called to be one of these voices:

  1. Express Interest - Complete a simple form one week before the session

  2. Prepare - Receive reflection questions to help clarify what feels alive for you

  3. Share - Speak your truth in a supported space for 8-10 minutes

  4. Be Witnessed - Experience the power of being truly heard without interruption

  5. Receive Support - Optional follow-up check-in after the session

For Those Who Hold Space

The circle needs both voices and witnesses. As a witness, you:

  • Practice deep listening without the need to respond

  • Notice what resonates within your own experience

  • Share brief reflections that honor connections without giving advice

  • Contribute to the collective wisdom of the circle

  • Build your capacity for presence and empathy

Preparation Support

Sharers receive thoughtful guidance to help them prepare, including:

  • Reflection questions to access what feels most important

  • Guidelines for authentic sharing

  • Optional structure suggestions

  • Reminder that there's no "right way" to share

Topics That Emerge in Our Circles

Every circle is unique, but men frequently discuss real-life challenges such as:

  • Feeling stuck in a career that pays the bills but leaves you empty

  • Struggling to connect with your partner or children in meaningful ways

  • Dealing with the weight of financial pressures and provider expectations

  • Wondering if the constant stress and exhaustion is just "normal life"

  • Navigating friendships that stay surface-level and lack real connection

  • Feeling isolated when facing tough decisions with nowhere to talk it through

  • Managing anger, frustration or irritability that seems to come out of nowhere

  • Handling the guilt of not measuring up to the man you think you should be

  • Working through relationship breakdowns, separation or divorce

  • Confronting health challenges that make you question your identity

  • Balancing the competing demands of work, family, and personal needs

  • Processing the loss of a parent or mentor figure

  • Finding your footing after a major setback or failure
